Body Wars

Body Wars was a motion simulator that transported passengers through the interior of the human body while displaying internal organs, blood vessels, and cellular structures. The seven-minute ride used moving effects and projections to bring anatomical details to life.

The attraction opened in October 1989 as a sponsored educational ride and operated under MetLife support. It closed in 2001 after visitor interest declined.

The ride used the setting of the body's interior to engage visitors with medical concepts in an entertaining way. The journey conveyed basic knowledge about organs and biological processes through immersive storytelling.

Visitors should expect intense motion during the ride and must secure safety restraints. The experience may not be suitable for those with back or neck conditions.

The story centered on a rescue mission to find Dr. Cynthia Lair, who had become lost within the circulatory system. This narrative framework transformed the biological journey into an action-adventure rather than a simple science lesson.
