The Land

The Land is a pavilion in EPCOT dedicated to food production, featuring multiple exhibits with greenhouses and experimental growing systems. The building displays how vegetables and fruits are cultivated in controlled environments that are then used for the park.

The pavilion opened in 1982 as one of the original areas in EPCOT's Future World. It was among the first buildings to bring visitors close to themes of agriculture and food production.

The pavilion showcases how people around the world grow food and experiment with new cultivation methods. Visitors can see how these techniques are actually used in the park's restaurants.

Visitors can take tours through the greenhouses and see how real plants grow there. It is a good idea to allow enough time to explore the different exhibition areas without rushing.

A boat carries visitors through different climate zones while revealing actual growing systems that are otherwise hidden. The ride shows how scientists here experiment with new cultivation methods.
