State Art Gallery

The State Art Gallery is an art museum in Hyderabad with multiple exhibition spaces inside a cylindrical building connected by spiral staircases on both sides. The collection includes paintings, sculptures, and installations displaying various art forms and styles.

The art museum was founded to preserve and display traditional and contemporary Indian artworks. It was created as a dedicated space for artistic expression in Telangana and supports the local art scene.

The galleries inside display artworks and installations that connect Indian artistic traditions with contemporary viewpoints. Visitors can observe how modern artists reinterpret and reimagine classical forms through their own perspective.

The museum is located in Kavuri Hills on Road Number 1 and offers free admission to all visitors. You can reach it easily by public transportation or auto-rickshaws.

Along the paths leading to the museum entrance, you will find metal sculptures made from recycled vehicle parts. These outdoor works create an additional exhibition space beyond what is inside the building.
