Toli Masjid, Mosque in Karvan district, Hyderabad, India
Toli Masjid features five grand arches at the frontage, decorated with lotus motifs in the spandrels and two minarets rising twenty meters high.
Mir Musa Khan Mahaldar, a designer of the Qutb Shahi dynasty, constructed this religious structure in 1671 during the reign of Abdullah Qutb Shah.
The prayer hall contains two separate naves with decorative inscriptions and references connected to Musa Khan and Abdullah Qutb Shah through the generations.
The mosque remains accessible to visitors from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM daily, with multiple accommodations and transportation options available in the vicinity.
Originally accompanied by 27 acres of land, the mosque received the INTACH award in 2005 for its representation of Qutb Shahi architectural excellence.
