Ranganathaswamy Temple, Jiyaguda, Dravidian temple in Jiyaguda, Hyderabad, India
The temple features a three-tier main tower and extends over two and a half acres along the banks of the Musi River.
Established in 1600, the temple was acquired by Seth Shivlal Pitti in 1861 and later transferred to a family trust in 1954.
The temple follows Vaishnavite traditions and conducts ceremonial marriages between Andal and Ranganatha during the Bhogi festival celebrations.
The temple opens twice daily, from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with free entry for all visitors.
The central shrine contains a two-foot black stone image of Ranganatha resting on a snake bed, carved from a single piece of stone.
