The Projector

The Projector is a cinema in Golden Mile Tower with three screening rooms called Green Room, Redrum, and Blue Room on the fifth floor. The 1970s building provides a distinctive setting for film screenings.

The space opened in 1973 as Golden Theatre with 1500 seats, making it the largest cinema in Singapore at that time. It was later divided into smaller screening rooms, eventually becoming the current venue.

The cinema screens independent films, international productions, and festival selections while hosting regular discussions and community events. This programming reflects its commitment to supporting film art and dialogue among visitors.

The cinema is easily accessible from Nicoll Highway MRT station, making it convenient to reach by public transport. The location is straightforward to find and simple to get to.

The venue has expanded beyond its main location with pop-up screenings at The Cathay Building and operates a streaming platform called Projector Plus. This expansion shows how it brings film access beyond its physical space.
