منتزه الجبل الأخضر

The منتزه الجبل الأخضر is a theme park in Taif built across several levels on a mountainside, combining entertainment zones, shops, and dining venues with local and international food. The complex connects children's play areas with quiet walking paths and viewpoints over the city.

The park emerged as part of an initiative to modernize leisure facilities in Taif and make the natural slope accessible to visitors. The development transformed the previously inaccessible mountainside into a public complex with terraced levels.

Every evening, families gather on the grass terraces, spreading carpets and sharing tea under the open sky. In the village section, local craftsmen sell sweets and handmade jewelry in front of visitors.

The park opens in the afternoon and stays open until late at night, with evening hours being especially pleasant as temperatures drop. The pathways are wide and cover multiple levels, though some steep sections connect the terraces.

A long toboggan slide stretches 1500 meters (about 4921 feet) down the slope and drops about 400 meters (roughly 1312 feet) in elevation. The ride winds through several curves and offers changing views over the surrounding terrain during the descent.
