Bílé Karpaty Protected Landscape Area

The Landschaftsschutzpark Weiße Karpaten is a nature reserve in South Moravia with forested hills, meadows, and rare orchid species spread across the landscape. The area contains diverse plant communities and various natural features throughout its extent.

The reserve was established in 1973 to protect natural habitats and geological features. This action continued centuries of traditional farming methods that have shaped the region.
