Casa Museo Gran Almirante Grau, Naval history museum in central Piura, Peru.
The building features seven permanent exhibition halls and two interior courtyards, displaying naval artifacts and personal belongings from the 19th century.
Admiral Miguel Grau, celebrated commander of the War of the Pacific, was born in this residence on July 27, 1834.
The museum exhibits French porcelain dinnerware, English tableware, crystal lamps, and four 19th-century portraits belonging to the Seminario family.
The museum opens Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 to 13:00 and 15:00 to 17:00, with weekend hours from 9:00 to 13:00.
Visitors can examine Admiral Grau's original sword, which was used to declare the independence of Piura on January 4, 1821.
