Colniza

Colniza is a municipality in northern Mato Grosso, spanning a large territory with extensive forest coverage and river systems. The town serves as the administrative center for the surrounding rural and forested landscape.

The municipality was established in 1998, marking an administrative expansion in northern Mato Grosso. This creation allowed better management of the state's outlying northern territories.
