Pasar Kemis

Pasar Kemis is an administrative district in Tangerang Regency comprising nine smaller administrative units. The area includes several villages and communities that together form this larger district.

Pasar Kemis was established in 1950 through the division of the Rajeg district as part of administrative reorganization. This creation marked the beginning of a new governance structure in the Tangerang region.

Residents of Pasar Kemis communicate in two variations of the Sundanese language: the Banten dialect and the Priangan dialect.

The district is served by local health centers and clinics accessible to residents and visitors. The various villages are connected through local roads and pathways.

The population distribution shows a balanced gender ratio with 129,411 males and 125,934 females recorded in the 2023 census.
