Batuceper is an administrative district in Tangerang comprising seven urban communities such as Batujaya, Porisgaga, and Kebon Besar, each with its own residential neighborhoods. The district has clear borders with Jakarta to the east, Benda District to the north, Cipondoh District to the south, and Tangerang and Neglasari Districts to the west.
The area was once part of a private domain controlled by Chinese Lieutenant Tan Tiang Po and his son Tan Liok Tiauw Sia as landowners. This early history shaped the settlement patterns that would eventually develop into today's district.
