Casa Cultural Gustavo Rojas Pinilla, Historical museum and national monument in Tunja, Colombia
The Casa Cultural Gustavo Rojas Pinilla features a Spanish colonial architectural design with four administrative offices and an auditorium for conferences and events.
The colonial residence was declared a National Monument in 1986 and became the birthplace museum of General Gustavo Rojas Pinilla, who served as Colombia's president from 1953 to 1957.
The museum contains thirteen paintings of regional leaders in the Hall of Boyacense Presidents and maintains a public library with over 12,200 volumes.
Located at Calle 17 10-63 in Tunja, the museum offers guided tours, temporary art exhibitions, workshops, seminars, and cultural events throughout the year.
The permanent exhibition includes 118 personal objects belonging to President Rojas Pinilla, documenting his military career and presidential term in Colombia.
