Liberty Tree Tavern, Colonial restaurant in Liberty Square, Magic Kingdom, United States.

Liberty Tree Tavern is a colonial-style restaurant with six separate dining halls featuring wooden beams, wrought iron fixtures, and authentic period furnishings that evoke early American interiors. Each space is designed to resemble a common tavern from that historical era.

The restaurant opened in 1971 when Magic Kingdom debuted, serving dishes rooted in New England colonial cooking traditions. This culinary approach has remained consistent with its historical foundation.

Each dining room bears the name of a figure from the American Revolution, creating a sense of connection to the people who shaped the nation. The wooden beams and period furnishings reinforce this historical atmosphere during your meal.

Lunch is available as individual orders while dinner is served family-style as an all-you-care-to-enjoy feast with roasted turkey and pot roast. Understanding the difference between these two service styles helps you choose the dining experience that suits you best.

Chairs throughout the dining rooms are dedicated to the signers of the Declaration of Independence, creating a direct link to these historical figures. This subtle tribute adds a layer of meaning to each space that guests often discover during their meal.
