Walt Disney World Speedway is a motorsport racing track in Bay Lake, Florida, featuring an oval layout about 1 mile long with three curves at different banking angles. The venue hosted racing events for over a decade directly next to one of the states most visited recreational areas.
Construction began in the early 1990s to create a venue for professional motorsport competitions in the region. The track hosted racing events from different series, including open-wheel programs and truck competitions, until the late 2010s.
The name links one of motorsports most recognized figures to the theme park zone since the late 1990s. Visitors can see race cars on the grounds and experience the track setting even today.
Access to the venue runs along Eudora Way near the recreational area entrance. Pedestrians can reach certain parts of the grounds on foot from surrounding sections.
A drainage pond in the middle of the facility has a shape resembling mouse ears when viewed from above. This practical feature served water management while serving as a subtle nod to the adjacent theme park zone.
