Shepperd's Dell, Natural waterfall site in Columbia River Gorge, Oregon.

Shepperd's Dell features a two-tiered waterfall with an upper cascade of 42 feet and lower cascade of 50 feet flowing into Youngs Creek.

George Shepperd, a local dairy farmer, donated this land to Portland in 1915 as a memorial to his wife Mattie before its transfer to state ownership.

The park includes one of the original bridges of the Historic Columbia River Highway, representing early 20th-century engineering in the Pacific Northwest.

Visitors can access the waterfall through a 0.2-mile round trip trail with stairs, with parking available on both sides of Highway 30.

Four counties surrounding the park maintain permanent quarantine measures for ash, olive, and white fringe trees to protect against emerald ash borers.
