Fengtai Softball Field

Fengtai Softball Field is a competition venue in Beijing with two main playing grounds and a separate training area. The facility accommodates around 13,000 spectators and functions as a professional sports complex.

The facility began operations in the 1980s and became known internationally when it hosted events during the 1990 Asian Games. Major renovations took place in 2006 to prepare for international competitions.

Chinese athletes secured fourth place in softball during the 2008 Olympics, marking a milestone for national participation in this sport.

The venue connects to central Beijing through Fengtai railway station, making it easy to reach by public transport. The location benefits from good connections to major transit routes in the city.

This venue became the first completed Olympic facility in Beijing, preparing for international competitions with extensive renovations in 2006.
