Guangdong International Circuit

Guangdong International Circuit is a motorsport facility in Zhaoqing featuring a 2.8-kilometer track with 13 turns and a 718-meter main straight. The venue includes grandstands, pit buildings, and support infrastructure designed to host various racing competitions.

The circuit opened in 2009 as Guangdong province's second permanent racing facility. It was established during a period when China was expanding its involvement in international motorsport.

The venue serves as a hub for motorsport enthusiasts in China, attracting spectators and participants from across the nation for racing events. It reflects the country's expanding engagement with competitive motorsport at both domestic and international levels.

The venue is located approximately 45 minutes by car from Guangzhou and is accessible by personal vehicle. Plan to arrive early on race days to secure good viewing positions, as the facility draws large crowds during major events.

The track layout features an asymmetrical design with five left-turning corners and eight right-turning corners arranged in clockwise direction. This unbalanced configuration creates driving challenges that require pilots to constantly adapt their approach through different sections.
