Happy Valley Shenzhen, Amusement park in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, China
Happy Valley Shenzhen is an amusement park with nine themed sections including Spanish Square, Cartoon City, Mt Adventure, and Gold Mine Town spread across expansive grounds. Each area features different rides and attractions designed for visitors of all ages.
The park opened on October 1, 1998, as the first Happy Valley location in China and launched the chain's expansion across the country. This early opening made it a pioneer in the domestic theme park industry.
The Playa Maya section incorporates design elements that reference Mayan culture and give visitors a sense of pre-Columbian aesthetics when walking through the water areas.
A monorail station near the entrance connects visitors to the Happy Line train system for convenient access to the park. The grounds are relatively flat, making walking manageable, and there are numerous seating areas to rest throughout the day.
The Bullet Coaster offers one of the park's most intense ride experiences with rapid acceleration and thrilling speeds that push the limits of what visitors expect. This attraction stands out for its extreme engineering and performance.
