Piau Engaly

Piau Engaly is a ski resort in the French Pyrenees situated at around 1850 meters elevation. The area has multiple ski runs of varying difficulty, several lifts, and reaches altitudes above 2600 meters.

The area opened in 1971 and grew into a major winter sports destination in the French Pyrenees. Since then, the resort has continuously expanded and modernized its facilities to serve more visitors.

The resort connects visitors with traditional mountain life in the Pyrenees, where small villages maintain their heritage crafts and practices. You can experience local food and customs that remain tied to seasonal rhythms and the surrounding peaks.

The area is best reached by car or bus, with parking available on-site. Winter conditions bring snow and mountain weather, so visitors should come prepared with appropriate gear.

The Edenéo center combines skiing with thermal water facilities and relaxation programs right next to the slopes. After a day on the mountains, visitors can soak in warm pools and recover their muscles.
