Bou Sra Waterfall, Three-tier waterfall in Mondulkiri Province, Cambodia.
Bou Sra Waterfall is a three-tier waterfall in Mondulkiri Province that cascades down natural rock faces in successive stages. The water flows through areas surrounded by thick vegetation and forest, creating a landscape shaped by the falling water over time.
This remote area was known mainly as untouched forest until development projects for a resort were proposed in the 2000s. Those plans did not move forward, leaving the site in its natural state.
The ethnic Phnong village of Pichinda maintains a small guesthouse near the waterfall, offering accommodation options for visitors to the area.
The site sits many kilometers from the nearest town and is reached by unpaved roads that require careful navigation. Visitors should come prepared for rough road conditions and stream crossings along the way.
The uppermost tier of the waterfall remains hidden behind dense forest and stays unreachable for most visitors. This inaccessible section sits surrounded by wild jungle, making the farthest reaches feel completely untouched.
