Đambri falls, Waterfall in Bao Loc, Vietnam
Đambri Falls is a waterfall in Bao Loc that drops over a granite cliff, splitting into two parallel cascades as it flows through dense forest. The water plunges from a significant height and creates a dramatic natural display surrounded by trees and vegetation.
The Chau Ma people settled in this area over a century ago and built villages near these falls, establishing their communities in the surrounding region. Early residents connected their settlements with suspension bridges that crossed the deep ravines nearby.
The name comes from an old legend about two lovers named Dam and Hri that people in the region still talk about today. This connection to local stories makes the place feel special to those who live nearby.
You can reach the top of the falls by elevator, by climbing stone steps, or by sliding down a water slide built beside the cascades. Wear shoes with good grip and plan enough time to explore all the different routes available.
The falls sit within a large nature reserve that encompasses much more than just the cascades themselves. The broader area is home to native wildlife, tree houses, and traditional settlements of mountain communities.
