TRT Broadcasting History Museum

The TRT Broadcasting History Museum contains extensive collections of broadcasting equipment, costumes, and promotional materials from different periods of Turkish media development.

The museum chronicles the evolution of Turkish broadcasting from 1926, when the first radio test broadcasts began, through the establishment of TRT in 1964.

The museum displays document the transformation of Turkish media from a single state broadcaster to an international content producer reaching audiences across multiple continents.

Exhibits include interactive stations where visitors can experience broadcasting techniques, view historical footage, and learn about the production of television programs.

The collection features original microphones from the 1960s, including an RCA model that transmitted some of the earliest television broadcasts in Turkish history.
