Legends of the Wild West

Legends of the Wild West is a walk-through attraction in Frontierland featuring Fort Comstock, where multiple floors display wax figures of American West characters including miners, sheriffs, and frontier personalities. The exhibition includes detailed scenes and period settings that recreate life during that era.

This attraction opened in 1993 as part of Frontierland's expansion and reflects Walt Disney Imagineering's vision for immersive Western experiences. It was created during a period when Disneyland Paris was developing its themed lands.

The displays present different groups from the American frontier era, from settlers and law enforcement to indigenous peoples. You can observe how these communities lived side by side during that time period.

The fort can be explored on your own across multiple levels with various viewing areas where you can look out over the surroundings. Plan to spend time examining the different rooms and scenes, as the details reward close attention.

Inside you can visit Buffalo Bill's office, decorated with original furniture and personal items from his life. This room offers an intimate look at the belongings of one of the Wild West's most famous figures.
