Hui County

Hui County spans 2,699 square kilometers across southeastern Gansu Province, featuring mountains, valleys, and agricultural lands between 704 and 2,504 meters elevation.

The territory shifted administrative control from Qinzhou Zhilizhou through Tianshui before establishing its current position within Longnan City of Gansu Province in 1957.

The population of 189,888 residents maintains traditional festivals throughout the year while speaking a regional dialect related to the Hokkien language group.

The county contains fifteen administrative divisions, including thirteen towns and two townships, with Chengguan serving as the governmental center.
