Baoji Bronze Museum

The Baoji Bronze Museum is a collection of ancient Chinese metalwork spanning several periods, with exhibits focused mainly on Zhou Dynasty creations. The displays include bronze vessels, decorated objects, and smaller artifacts that demonstrate the technical knowledge of that era.

The museum preserves a famous bronze vessel from the 11th century BCE, which contains an inscription naming an important region from that time. This inscription is one of the earliest known written records of the territory that would later be called China.

The exhibition halls display metalwork in bronze, jade, pottery, and gold primarily from the Zhou Dynasty, reflecting the craftsmanship of that era. Visitors can observe how these materials were transformed into both everyday items and religious objects.
