Qustul, Archaeological cemetery in Aswan Governorate, Egypt.
Located on the eastern bank of the Nile in Lower Nubia, Qustul features multiple burial sites with preserved mud brick constructions and ancient artifacts.
The cemetery contains remains from three distinct periods: the A-Group culture, the New Kingdom of Egypt, and the X-Group culture of the fourth century.
The Qustul incense burner from 3200-3000 BCE displays early Egyptian royal imagery, including a representation of the White Crown of Upper Egypt.
The archaeological site remains submerged beneath Lake Nasser waters, with recovered artifacts now displayed in various Egyptian museums for research purposes.
Archaeological findings at Qustul indicate trade connections between Mesopotamia and Lower Nubia during the pre-dynastic period through discovered material evidence.
