Bethlehem Governorate

The Bethlehem Governorate is an administrative region in the West Bank covering roughly 644 square kilometers. It contains urban centers, farmland, several refugee camps, and numerous rural settlements spread across the landscape.

The Oslo Accords in 1995 established this territory as one of sixteen administrative regions under Palestinian National Authority control. This agreement marked a turning point for regional governance and self-determination.
