Santa Cruz de Jerusalen, Juli

Santa Cruz de Jerusalen is a Baroque church in Juli with elaborately carved granite stone facades. The interior contains multiple decorated altars and detailed wall ornaments that preserve the craftsmanship of the colonial period.

Construction of the church began in the 16th century as part of Jesuit missionary work in the Andes. It served as a center for training missionaries and establishing Christian communities in the region.
