The Cerro Khapia Reserved Zone Landscape Reserve is a protected area in Province of Chucuito that encompasses five mountains, including Cerro Khapía at 4,825 meters elevation. The territory also includes Cerro Ichocollo at 4,574 meters and features diverse high-altitude landscape.
SERNANP established this landscape reserve on May 28, 2011, to protect natural resources and the ecosystem. The creation of the protected area was a step to preserve this high-altitude region for future generations.
