Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral, Puyo, Catholic cathedral in Puyo, Ecuador.

Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral is a Catholic church in the 12 de Mayo district of Puyo, Pastaza Province, Ecuador. Designed by architect Reinaldo Flores, it was blessed and inaugurated on 10 May 1972 after four years of construction. Its stained glass was made by an American nun.

The Apostolic Vicariate of Puyo was created in 1964 by Pope Paul VI with the bull Apostolica praefectura, and its current name dates from 1976. The cathedral, designed by architect Reinaldo Flores, took four years to build and was blessed and inaugurated on 10 May 1972, dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary of Pompeii.

The cathedral is dedicated to the Virgin Mary under the title Our Lady of the Rosary of Pompeii, a devotion brought to Puyo by the Vicariate. Its patronal feast is celebrated on 7 October, and the building hosts the liturgical life of the Apostolic Vicariate of Puyo, created in 1964 and named as such since 1976.

The cathedral stands in the 12 de Mayo district of central Puyo, within walking distance of the city's main streets. It is an active parish seat of the Apostolic Vicariate of Puyo, so visits fit around Mass and parish activities rather than fixed tourist hours. Look for the entrance facing the central district.

The stained glass was made by an American nun, not a professional studio artist. The cathedral was blessed and inaugurated on 10 May 1972, four years after construction began, to a design by architect Reinaldo Flores. It is dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary of Pompeii.
