The Brickell House is a residential tower at 1300 Brickell Bay Drive featuring 46 floors with 374 units ranging from studios to three-bedroom penthouses. The structure stands 500 feet tall and serves the downtown Miami housing market.
Newgard Development Group launched construction in 2012 as Miami's residential market recovered following the housing decline of the previous decade. The project represented a turning point for downtown residential development.
The interior spaces by Yabu Pushelberg reflect contemporary Miami design through the integration of minimalist elements and natural light throughout the residences.
The building sits adjacent to the Financial District Metromover station, making public transportation easily accessible from the location. Ground-level retail spaces provide shopping and dining options without leaving the building.
The building features an automated robotic parking system that experienced technical issues in 2015 and underwent modifications. This experimental approach to parking management represented an early adoption of such technology in the Miami market.
