Church of Our Savior, MCC

Church of Our Savior is a Christian congregation meeting in a converted commercial building on South Federal Highway in Boynton Beach. The interior features twelve stained glass windows incorporating rainbow colors alongside traditional religious imagery.

The congregation began in 1990 as an extension of an existing church in Fort Lauderdale and received official Metropolitan Community Church status in 1992. This growth reflects the emergence of a network designed to serve those rejected by mainstream religious institutions.

The congregation has created a space where all people, especially LGBTQ individuals, feel genuinely welcome to express their faith freely. Visitors notice immediately the warmth and openness that characterizes both worship services and community gatherings.

The building sits on a main commercial road with parking available for visitors. Services feature open communion, meaning anyone can participate regardless of membership or religious background.

The building was once a fast-food pizza restaurant before being converted into a house of worship. This ordinary structure became a meaningful home for people who found no welcome elsewhere.
