The district operates four theme parks, two water parks, a sports complex, and numerous entertainment facilities that attract millions of visitors annually.
The administration center at Hotel Plaza Boulevard in Lake Buena Vista oversees water supply, waste management, fire protection, and infrastructure maintenance.
The district maintains its own environmental science laboratory to monitor water quality and ecological conditions throughout the 38.5 square mile territory.
