Pleasure Island

Pleasure Island is an entertainment area in Downtown Disney, Florida, that gathers several nightclubs on an artificial island. Two pedestrian bridges cross a narrow waterway and connect the main street with the surrounding areas.

The area emerged as part of the Downtown Disney expansion and transformed a simple waterfront section into a nightlife district. Disney developed the project to offer entertainment for adults after park closing hours.

Each club offers a different musical concept, allowing visitors to move between rock, jazz and electronic rhythms. The dance floors fill up late in the evening with guests who want to try different music styles.

Anyone wishing to enter the clubs must present valid identification and meet the legal minimum age for alcohol consumption in Florida, which is 21 years. The entrance areas are clearly marked and located on both sides of the central street.

The Mannequins Dance Palace has a rotating dance floor in the middle of the room that turns continuously during operation. Dancers move on this platform while electronic music plays from all directions.
