T-Mobile Arena, Indoor sports arena in Paradise, Nevada.
T-Mobile Arena is an indoor venue for sports and entertainment in Paradise, Nevada, close to the Las Vegas Strip. The building holds around twenty thousand people across multiple levels and includes private suites and different seating sections for concerts, sports events, and other programs.
Construction began in 2014 and the building opened in the spring of 2016 to meet the growing demand for large events in Las Vegas. Shortly after opening, the city welcomed its own professional hockey team, which played its first home season here.
The Vegas Golden Knights hockey team plays its home games here and fans bring red and gold jerseys into the stands on game nights. Alongside hockey, major UFC fighting events and international boxing matches draw crowds from around the world who come to watch the matches live.
The building sits a short walk from the southern end of the Las Vegas Strip and several hotels connect directly via pedestrian bridges. Visitors arriving by car will find parking in attached garages, which fill up quickly before major events and should be reached early.
The entire outer shell is wrapped in a continuous LED video screen that displays images and announcements across multiple floors after dark. This screen is visible from much of the surrounding area and turns the building into a glowing billboard easily spotted from the street.
