Tropicana – Las Vegas Boulevard intersection

The intersection features elevated walkways connecting four major hotels, accommodating thousands of pedestrians crossing between MGM Grand, New York-New York, and Excalibur Hotel.

The intersection underwent significant modifications in 1993 with the construction of four elevated pedestrian bridges, eliminating ground-level crossings for enhanced safety.

The intersection marks the meeting point of numerous entertainment venues, where visitors experience the neon lights and constant flow of Las Vegas life.

The crossing provides direct access to Harry Reid International Airport via Tropicana Avenue and serves as the first major exit from Interstate 15 for northbound traffic.

Following the 2024 demolition of the Tropicana Resort, the intersection will transform to accommodate a new baseball stadium for the Oakland Athletics.
