Taizi Great Mosque

The Taizi Great Mosque is a place of prayer in Lingwu with a main prayer hall and several rooms designed to hold hundreds of worshippers. The structure has been rebuilt and restored multiple times to maintain its ability to serve the community.

The mosque began as a religious center for the Muslim community in the Ningxia region. Its current form developed through major renovations over recent decades that updated its facilities.

The building brings together Han architectural traditions with Islamic design through brick carvings and timber details. These elements appear naturally in the spaces you walk through, showing how two styles fit together.

You can reach this place easily by local bus, which connects it to major transportation hubs in the area. It is open to visitors throughout the day when regular prayer services are not taking place.

The cemetery area contains shrines honoring Sufi saints, which reveals the deeper spiritual role this place holds. These sacred spaces draw pilgrims from across the region.
