Di Linh

Di Linh is a rural district in the Central Highlands with varied terrain that rises and falls across the landscape. Several small settlements and farming areas are scattered throughout the region, connected by winding roads.

French colonial administrators established an administrative center here in 1899 and built their headquarters the following year. This early development set the foundation for what would later become the district.

Multiple ethnic communities here maintain their own festivals and crafts that shape daily life in the area. You can see these practices in villages and at markets, where people still follow traditional methods.

The weather stays mild throughout the year, with drier months from December to March being better for visits. Sturdy shoes are recommended since many paths are hilly and uneven.

Robusta coffee is grown extensively here, with beans dried in the sun for ten days using traditional methods. This lengthy process remains the preferred technique for many farmers today.
