Lạc Dương, Rural district in Central Highlands, Vietnam.
Lạc Dương is a rural district located in the mountainous region of Lâm Đồng Province in the Central Highlands. The area features steep terrain with scattered farms and forests covering much of the landscape.
The district was created in 1979 as part of administrative changes in the region. This reorganization was part of larger shifts in the Central Highlands.
Multiple ethnic groups live in the district and continue their traditional ways in everyday life. You can see this in their clothing, homes, and how they farm the land around them.
The best time to visit is during the dry season when road conditions are better for travel. Most villages and farming areas are accessible by local transport or on foot.
The area is home to Langbiang Peak, one of the highest mountains in the region. Many visitors overlook that this mountain is also a popular hiking destination.
