Kashmir division

Kashmir Division is an administrative region in the Kashmir Valley in northern India, spanning across ten districts. It encompasses major urban centers and also surrounds rural areas with varied terrain.

The region underwent administrative reorganization in 1968 to better organize local governance and development. This restructuring shaped the current layout of districts and their administrative centers.
