Plymouth Gin Distillery

The Plymouth Gin Distillery operates in a 15th-century building featuring stone walls, wooden beams, and copper stills for gin production.

Founded in 1793, the building served multiple purposes, including a merchant's house in 1500 and a meeting place between 1689 and 1705.

The distillery maintains traditional production methods using seven botanicals, including juniper berries, coriander, and angelica root for their signature gin.

Visitors can join guided tours of the facility, explore the gin-making process, and taste various gin cocktails at the onsite bar.

The British Royal Navy included Plymouth Gin in commissioning kits for new vessels, containing two bottles at 57% alcohol strength.
