Calico River Rapids

The circular rafts navigate through rushing waters, unexpected drops, and winding paths while encountering various animatronic characters and wildlife along the route.

Originally opened in 1988 as Bigfoot Rapids, the attraction underwent a complete transformation in 2019 to integrate with the Ghost Town section of the park.

The western-themed adventure introduces riders to fictional characters Potts and Colter, who discovered the Calico River Territory during the early days of settlement.

The ride requires a minimum height of 46 inches, and guests should anticipate getting wet during the journey through rapids and waterfalls.

The 2019 renovation added indigenous wildlife encounters and a mysterious creature known as the Skunk Ape to enhance the river expedition experience.
