Majlis Ghorfat Umm Al Sheif

The building features thick walls constructed from coral stone and mud, with a two-floor design incorporating traditional Emirati architectural elements.

Built in 1955, this summer residence served as a meeting place for Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum to discuss important decisions about Dubai's development.

The interior displays numerous artifacts from the 1950s, including copper buckets, coffee stoves, traditional carpets, and defensive equipment used in Emirati households.

Located between Al Tawaash Street and Al Nokhtha Street, the site maintains regular opening hours and offers guided tours in multiple languages.

The structure stands as the last remaining traditional building in an area that contains a garden with palm trees, irrigation channels, and a freshwater well.
