Estadio Tecnológico de Oaxaca

The Estadio Tecnológico de Oaxaca is a football stadium in Oaxaca de Juárez with a capacity of around 15,000 spectators and 72 luxury boxes for viewing. The venue hosts football matches and other sporting events with contemporary facilities.

Construction began in March 2013 and faced an 11-month delay due to protests by teachers and students at the local technical institute. This interruption marked a significant moment in the venue's development.

The venue takes its name from the nearby technical institute, reflecting the city's connection between education and sports. Visitors can observe how the grounds serve as a gathering place for local football supporters and community events.

The stadium is located near the Instituto Tecnológico de Oaxaca in the Constituyentes area and is easily accessible from the city. It operates as the home ground for Alebrijes de Oaxaca football club with regular match days.

The venue was built using precast modular construction methods, a rare building approach for large sports facilities in Mexico. This construction method made it the largest sports facility in the country built this way.
