The Swan Boats transported visitors around the waterways near Cinderella Castle through a system of natural gas-powered water propulsion vessels.
Operating from May 1973 to August 1983, the attraction started with twelve boats, though maintenance issues reduced the operational fleet to five vessels.
The boats provided families with views of multiple park landmarks while crossing the waters surrounding the central hub of Magic Kingdom.
Guests accessed the boats through a loading dock near the Rose Garden, completing the water circuit in approximately ten minutes during regular park hours.
One of the original Swan Boats was modified to function as a maintenance vessel for cleaning the park's waterway system.
