Winjas, Indoor spinning roller coaster in Phantasialand, Brühl, Germany
Winjas is a roller coaster inside Phantasialand featuring two parallel tracks called Fear and Force that twist through darkness. Each car spins independently as it travels, so every rider experiences their own unique twists and turns based on the coaster's speed and movement.
Winjas opened in 2002 as one of the first indoor spinning coasters in a theme park. The ride brought together new rotating car technology with traditional roller coaster engineering.
The ride sits in Wuze Town, a themed area inspired by exotic adventure stories, where the setting shapes how visitors engage with the experience.
Guests must reach at least 120 centimeters tall to ride. Since the coaster is completely covered, weather never affects when you can experience it.
Each pair of cars spins at different speeds depending on rider weight and how fast they enter each section. This means no two rides feel exactly the same, even on the same track.
