Al-Kut Olympic Stadium

Al-Kut Olympic Stadium is a multi-purpose facility in Kut with a modern playing surface and seating for approximately 20,000 spectators. The venue features high-quality lighting systems and international-standard facilities designed for professional matches.

Construction of the facility began in 2013 but encountered delays and was completed in 2018. The project passed through different contractors before the stadium was finally finished.

The stadium brings together supporters of Al-Kut SC and other teams who gather for matches to share their passion for football. It serves as a meeting place for sports fans throughout the Wasit Governorate.

The stadium features floodlighting that allows matches to take place in the evening and during winter months. Visitors should arrive early to secure good seating and avoid crowds before kickoff.

The facility hosted Iraq's Super Cup in 2019 and demonstrated its capacity to stage major national sporting events. The match between two top-tier teams marked a significant moment for local sports.
