Baix Camp, Administrative division in Tarragona Province, Spain.

Baix Camp is an administrative division in Tarragona Province that covers coastal areas and mountain ranges across 28 municipalities. Reus serves as the main city and administrative center for the entire region.

The comarca of Baix Camp was established in 1936 during Catalonia's territorial reorganization. This administrative change replaced earlier territorial divisions and created the current structure we see today.

Towns across Baix Camp hold annual celebrations where you find traditional Catalan dances, regional food dishes, and local music performances. These events show how communities value and share their cultural customs throughout the year.

The region is accessible through the AP-7 motorway with train stations in Reus and Cambrils connecting to Barcelona and Valencia. You can use these transport hubs to move between towns and explore the different areas.

Farmers here grow hazelnuts with protected designation status, a crop that holds considerable importance for local agriculture. This specialty production reflects how farming shapes the economic character of the region.
