Michelob Ultra Arena, Entertainment center in Paradise, Nevada
Michelob Ultra Arena is an event venue inside the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Paradise, Nevada, with seating for approximately 12,000 people. The space includes luxury suites between sections 305 and 308 and covers a floor area of about 2,800 square meters (30,000 square feet).
The hall opened on April 10, 1999, with a concert by Luciano Pavarotti, who returned to Las Vegas after 14 years. In 2021, the building received its current name through a partnership with the beer brand Michelob Ultra.
This arena serves as home court for the Las Vegas Aces basketball team and regularly hosts boxing matches and concerts by international artists. During the season, thousands of fans gather here to experience professional sports events in the heart of the entertainment district.
Access to the hall is through the Mandalay Bay Resort at 3950 Las Vegas Boulevard South, where visitors walk through the casino to reach the entrances. Seating arrangements vary depending on the type of event, and for many shows it helps to arrive early to find your seat comfortably.
The building originally carried the name Mandalay Bay Events Center and changed to its current designation only in 2021. The new name comes from an agreement with Anheuser-Busch, which wanted to link its beer brand Michelob Ultra with the hall.
